Eagle I is an Indie Pop Rock artist based out of Brooklyn, New York. Eagle I packs a sound that is both powerful and melodic through thunderous drums and chant-like vocals. He hopes his music will appeal to music lovers of all ages.
The singer-songwriter-musician Eagle I was born and raised into a musically inclined family. He grew up influenced by artists such as Elvis, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, David Bowie, Depeche Mode and U2 to name a few. From a young age, he quickly taught himself how to play the drums, guitar, piano and Latin percussions. His passion for music is undeniable. Eagle I lives and breathes music....
Early on, Gio, now known as Eagle I , formed his first band and played small venues and clubs around the tri-state area. They quickly gained recognition and a large following. Soon after, Gio formed another band that was rapidly embraced by the New York music scene. During this time, he was discovered by famed photographer Zsolt Savery-Bene. The band was invited to open up for a legendary artist in Praque, Czech Republic. After a successful European tour and playing for crowds up to 45,000 people, the band was brought back to open for Robert Plant and Ozzy Ozbourne.
Upon his return to the states, Gio began a new project called Mister Gio. After performing for almost three years he decided to venture out and change the direction of his music. Gio was introduced to a producer/singer-songwriter, David Andronico. In a joint-effort, Eagle I was born. The two quickly conneted and co-wrote original songs together for Eagle I's new upcoming EP self titled "Eagle I ".
"I've always been driven to make music my whole life. I have never given up, even when people told me that I would not get anywhere and to give up on my dreams. Through my music, I share what's most important to me in my life. I don't write just to create a song or make up stories that are irrelevant to me. I write about things that matter in the world; what's happening globally or even my own struggles I may be facing in my life. I express my feelings and visions through my music. If I can make a difference in someone's life, even in the smallest way-one music note at a time, then I know I've done good. Some wear their heart on their sleeve, but you'll find mine in my music." - Eagle I
